What is your favourite animal?
Horses. They are real characters, and it makes me laugh that they can have serious attitude problems.
At what age did you decide to work in the animal industry?
I can’t remember an exact age, but I’ve known since I was little!
Do you have any pets of your own?
Yes, I have a Cockerpoo puppy who is always up to no good! And my family pet is a very sassy Dachshund who is full of attitude!
What is the funniest or most memorable experience you’ve had with a client?
It would have to be when we performed a dental on a client’s pet and they asked to keep all the teeth that were removed as “memorabilia”.
What is your favourite thing about working for easipetcare?
I love my team and the people I work with, they’re like a second family. I never have a dull day with them. I also love that Easipetcare has affordable care for everyone!
If you had a different career what would it be?
I’ve been working in practice for 9 years, so the veterinary industry is all I’ve ever known. I loved science at school and studied it at college, so maybe a scientist?! Who knows!
What is the best piece of advice you would give to a pet owner or client?
All pets really are members of the family. If you’re good to them, they’ll be good to you!
Do you do or have you done any additional volunteer work with animals outside of work?
I actually haven’t done any volunteer work outside of work. But I would love to do some with wildlife.
What kind of animal do you think you are most like and why?
I’m probably a mixture of many animals! A dolphin because like them I am great at communicating, a real team player… and everybody loves dolphins! But there is definitely a hint of cat in there somewhere… everything is on my terms! Although I’ve been told a giraffe as I’m all legs!
